Contest seeks ideas to combat climate change in livestock farming in Latin America and the Caribbean
The aim is to identify best practices for sustainable livestock farming, management of fodder and genetic resources, circular economy and animal health.
The Platform of Latin America and the Caribbean for Climate Action on Agriculture, CGIAR and the World Meteorological Organization will hold a series of four workshops on the Agroclimatic Technical Tables.
Throughout the first half of 2024, PLACA will conduct four thematic sessions, through its four Thematic Working Groups.
What is PLACA?
PLACA is a regional mechanism for voluntary collaboration between the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) on agriculture and climate change, aimed at productive agricultural development that is adapted to the effects of climate change and is resilient and low in greenhouse gas emissions.
