About the Workshop

The TWG1 has organized the "Methodological level workshop for the calculation of emissions from the livestock sector of the National Inventory of Greenhouse Gases in the PLACA countries". This action is within the scope of the objective "Exchange workshop on IPCC indicators, monitoring systems and TIER levels in PLACA countries" within the scope of the 2021-2022 Work Plan.

Objectives

• Support countries in sharing their knowledge on the use of IPCC TIER levels
• Exchange experiences on national inventories and initiate discussions to develop a regional strategy to adopt the IPCC 2006 TIER3 method in the livestock sector.
