Objectives

• Improve the understanding of SDG 6.4 and its indicators, to increase efficiency in the use of energy of the water in all sectors and to ensure the sustainable use of the water to cope with the shortage of water.
• To present initiatives and experiences related to the more efficient use of the water for resilient agriculture, assessing their impact and analyzing the link between these initiatives and the concept of water efficiency used in the calculation of indicator 6.4.1.
• Promote knowledge sharing among sectors and communities on strategies for improving management practices based on accounting for the water, to increase the resilience in the use of the water to address climate change in response to the shortage of water and drought.
