This tool was developed by professionals from the Ministries of Agriculture participating in PLACA, with the aim of providing clarity and consistency in the use of specific terminology among countries in the region.

PLACA, with support from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, led a series of virtual events as part of the preparations for the agenda of the upcoming United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP30.

With FAO´s support, the climate action platform concluded its annual assembly with solutions that will serve as inputs for global negotiations on climate change.

The selected initiatives will receive regional recognition and will become part of PLACA's Technological Solutions Bank.
