To coordinate and promote mechanisms for collaboration, the exchange of experiences and individual or coordinated efforts for innovation and scientific and technological dissemination among the countries of LAC, in order to address the effects of climate change and climate variability with a view to promoting sustainable, efficient and resilient agriculture.

(1) Integration of data networks, identification of gaps and development of a regional system to identify scientific priorities and technological needs; (2) Identification of needs and gaps to promote the integration of data networks with a view to developing an information system on vulnerabilities in the region; (3) Identification of priorities and needs in the region, construction of indicators that adequately characterize the set of social, environmental and economic benefits associated with the agricultural production model developed in the region; (4) Identification of regional priorities and needs, construction of indicators that adequately characterize the set of social, environmental and economic benefits associated with the agricultural production model developed in the region; (5) Identification of research strengths at the regional level; (6) Identification of regional needs, design of regional strategies to disseminate the qualities associated with agricultural products for climate change; (4) Database of regional research priorities for climate change; (5) Identification of research strengths at the regional level; (6) Identification of regional needs, design of regional strategies to disseminate the qualities associated with agricultural products produced in the region; (7) Identification of funding opportunities for the adoption of policies and capacity building; (8) Identification of barriers to dissemination and development of a regional communication strategy for climate change actions.
