The Work Plans of the Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) share the same strategic lines defined in PLACA's General Plan, thus ensuring institutional coherence and alignment.

At PLACA´s Regional Forum, each group presents its progress and reviews topics that can be prioritized and incorporated into the plan so that more specific technical activities can be developed. Thus, the Thematic Working Group on Public Policies through Strategic Collaboration prioritized the following topics: Sharm el-Sheikh Agreement, Loss and Damage and Contributions of Artificial Intelligence applied to agriculture.

These plans remain flexible and open-ended, allowing the incorporation of new activities and actions that respond to the emerging needs of member countries.
