The Bank of low-cost technological solutions and/or based on local resources es una iniciativa del Grupo de Trabajo Temático de Gestión de Conocimientos de PLACA.

The second edition of this regional competition seeks to highlight low-cost and/or local resource-based technological solutions that contribute to improving the sustainability and resilience of agrifood systems through innovative actions to mitigate or adapt to the effects of climate change.

The themes of the 2023 call are:

• Low-cost technology (replicable)
• Use and exploitation of natural elements (bioinputs, biofactories, bioeconomy)
• Redesign of production units to adapt to climate change
• Food production in urban and peri-urban areas

Awards:

• 1er Lugar: 1000.00 USD
• 2do Lugar: 750.00 USD
• 3er Lugar: 500.00 USD

Los ganadores podrán acceder a los premios en efectivo previa firma de acuerdo de donación (30% al momento de recibir el premio y el 70% la última semana de diciembre).
