The Bank of practical and low-cost technological solutions is an initiative of the Thematic Working Group on Knowledge Management .

Objetivo:

• Identify practical and technological solutions to increase the productivity of agrifood systems in a sustainable manner, contributing to the adaptation and/or mitigation of the effects of climate change on livestock.

2024 contest themes:

• Good practices for sustainable livestock husbandry (feeding, breeding and management).
• Management and handling of fodder and feed resources.
• Rescue, characterization, utilization and conservation of genetic resources.
• Circular economy (treatment and use of manure, waste, use of biodigesters, dairy waste).
• Animal health with a focus on one health (comprehensive strategies to protect the welfare of animals, people and the environment, recognizing their interconnectedness).

Awards:

The top 3 scores will have access to 1000 USD.
