To strengthen the technical and political capabilities of PLACA member countries to participate in the international negotiation processes on climate change in agriculture in an informed and strategic manner, through a cycle of technical analysis, regional dialogue and exchange of experiences.

• August 26 - Empowering Agriculture in NDCs 3.0: Approaches and Climate Ambition from Latin America and the Caribbean

Role of the agricultural sector in the NDCs 2025; regional experiences and best practices; strengthening MRV systems; technical recommendations for submissions and the negotiation kit.

• September 09 - Navigating the nexus: challenges and opportunities for developing countries in the interplay between Articles 5 and 6 of the Paris Agreement.

Challenges and opportunities in the implementation of Articles 5 and 6; participation in carbon markets (6.2 and 6.4); environmental integrity, equity in benefits and institutional capacities; experiences in the region to strengthen participation in cooperation mechanisms.

• September 30 - Addressing Loss and Damage in Agriculture: From Impact Assessment to Comprehensive Action

Implications of the Loss and Damage Fund for the agricultural sector; eligibility and access criteria; loss measurement methodologies; rural vulnerability; regional recommendations for advocacy and access to climate finance.
