Thematic Working Groups
One of the fundamental pillars of the Platform for Climate Action in Agriculture in Latin America and the Caribbean (PLACA) is the Thematic Working Groups (TWGs). The working groups are mechanisms for co-creating knowledge and strengthening capacities. They will serve as a means to form a collaborative and interdisciplinary regional ecosystem with the same purpose: to help all countries to standardize methodologies, procedures and share experiences.
Adaptation and Mitigation
It is coordinated by Argentina. Other participants are: Bahamas, Brazil, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay and Peru.
Public Policies
It is coordinated by Chile. Other participants are: Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
Knowledge Management

Research, development and technological innovation
